About UBC

AMS Nest at the University of British Columbia

The University of British Columbia (UBC) is situated on the unceded ancestral territories of the Musqueam (xʷməθkʷəy̓əm). The campus is located on Vancouver’s west side, surrounded by temperate rainforest and sandy beaches. UBC’s natural setting is complemented by nearby shops and restaurants located within walking distance of guest rooms and meeting spaces. UBC’s vibrant neighbourhood has quality community services, such as banks, restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies, libraries, campus attractions, and recreational sites and facilities. Take a virtual tour here.

The AMS Nest is a five-story building in the campus centre with over 250,000 square feet of meeting and conference space. On the second floor are the Great Hall and a number of small to large conference rooms—the perfect fit for TUFH 2022.
