Accommodations at UBC

From budget-friendly dormitories to stylishly-appointed suites with hotel amenities, the University of British Columbia (UBC) campus offers a range of accommodation options for TUFH 2022 participants—all within easy walking distance to the on-campus conference venue. These accommodations do not include breakfast; however, participants can enjoy breakfast at the conference venue each day of the conference. Find accommodation that’s right for you!

BUDGET ROOMS IN SHARED APARTMENTS

STANDARD SINGLE ROOM at Gage Towers

5959 Student Union Blvd, Vancouver, British Columbia V6T 2C9

Private single bedroom with complimentary wifi. Sleeps one person. Guests share common living room, equipped kitchen, and washroom with two showers (no bathtub) with five other guests.

Room does not have air conditioning.

SIGNATURE STUDIO at Gage Suites – 233 sq ft –

5959 Student Union Blvd, Vancouver, British Columbia V6T 2C9

Premium private studio room with queen bed, fully equipped kitchen with appliances, and washroom with shower (no bathtub). Superior bathroom and kitchenette finishes. Complimentary wireless internet and LCD TV. Sleeps up to two people.

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning.

Downtown Vancouver Hotels 

Most hotels are about a 30-minute drive or hour-long public transit ride from the conference venue. Please take this into consideration when booking your accommodation.

Accommodation rates on the UBC campus are discounted for TUFH 2022 participants and will, therefore, be cheaper than accommodation downtown.

If you choose to stay off-campus, options for accommodation include:

Vancouver Hostels

Most hostels are approximately a 30-minute drive or 1-hour public transit ride from the conference venue!  Please take this into consideration when booking your accommodation.

Please be aware that the rates at the UBC Campus are discounted for TUFH 2022 Participants, and will therefore be cheaper than accommodation downtown.
